I was in Amy's (Bumble Bee Cottage) Heart Of Winter Swap, And I had such a great swap partner...Margie, from Hungry Hook Prims! She really outdid herself and has spoiled me rotten. I couldn't wait to open it.

All of these beautiful surprises. You really made4 my day Margie. I love the wooden bowl of hearts and the grubbied heart tin.

And when I first seen this hooked heart on Margie's Blog, I thought they were so beautiful. And look, I got one. The picture does not do justice. The heart garland is so cute, and the tin vase with the berries is adorable. On the other side of the tag it says Love. I really loved everything, and what a great mid winter pick me up. Thank you so much Margie, you have spoiled me. And a big thank you to Amy...You are the Best!!!!
Have you ladies seen the ad for J.C.Penney for Feb.1st.? It really cracks me up. I sit and laugh till I cry. It just really makes my day. (Gosh, I need to get a life) My Hubby said it reminded him of me when there is a big sale going on. I am heading there tomorrow and hoping I can get some good bargains. If you haven't seen the ads, you 've got to see them! Hope you all have a good night.

A VERY QUIET SUNDAY

My Three Grandaughters and my oldest Daughter. Tristan, Erika(Mom), Bailey, and Madison.
It is the quietest day I have had in so long, and I should be doing something constructive, Lord knows I have enough to keep me busy, but I am looking at photos my Grandaughter brought me. I love this one. Iam posting two videos of my family, and some pics are fun and some serious. This is my life. I have had a good life so far, but I have also had alot of pain and heartbreak also. I am just an ordinary person and I love to read your blogs and your comments you leave me. It makes my day a little brighter, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am not a good blogger, but I am trying. I am basically shy but am trying to over come that also. Someday I will post my crafts. Some of you have seen them,and I hope to be as good as you gals someday. It better be soon, cause I am not no Spring chicken.

This is my Baby, Erin. The three boys are my Grandsons. Morgan, Cooper, and Nickolas.
They are all growing like weeds. But they sure are the sunshine of my Life. They sure had a good time this day. What a mess they were! I am going to go takesome pics of my thrift finds,and will post them later today. Hope eberyone has a sunshiny day!

I was recently in the SSS Christmas Swap. I don't know who my SECRET SANTA was, but she sent me some really neat stuff.

It is such a beautiful day out, you wouldn't know it was December. Hope we get some snow before Santa comes. Where has the time gone? There is so much to do and so little time to do it. I need to really get motivated, or I will never be ready for Christmas!!! I have lots of pics to post, so I am going to try, but everything is so slow to load. I was in a swap hosted by Amy of Bumble Bee Cottage, 'CHRISTMAS AT THE CABIN." Felicia, of Raggedy Creations and I were swap partners. I received such beautiful things from her. She is so amazing, just like her prims that she makes. I love this mitten she made. (do you see that cute little mouse?) Then there was a penny rug that is just gorgeous and ornaments that she made also. This gal is so talented. There was a painted slate, scented wax ornies., so many different ones. For her first time making them...they are fabulous! There was a painted slate, a friend ornament, sugar cookie mix, tart blocks,a snow globe with my name on it,potholder and mitten, two pair of cozy,fluffy socks. I must have been a very, very good girl this year Thank you Felicia from the bottom of my heart! I love everything so much, and I am glad to have found a new friend.

It has been like forever since I have been on my blog. it just took a little longer to recuperate this time. It has been so busy. My son got married and I am so happy. It was a beautiful wedding. I am sure glad that it is over with. (A lot of work involved and not enough time!) I want to show you girls what Sweet Sheila from "SEASONS OF THY HEART" sent me. I have been such a bad blogger this summer. I haven't really been feeling all that well, and now I have to have surgery this Wednesday. It is an ongoing thing, but someday things will get better. Amy, over at BUMBLE BEE LANE hosted a wonderful friendship swap recently, and we were to choose which season was our favorite. I chose fall, and had Tamera from "COUNTRY AT HEART" as my swap partner. I received a beautiful Fannie Fall doll that she made. It is so adorable.

She sent me a microwave bag for taters and corn that she made. I was really impressed with it. I can't wait to try it out. She also made a scissor holder out of a potholder and included a pair of scissors.

I got a lovely sheep ornament, a pretty dish towel she made, a fall scented candle in spice, a leaf candy dish which included cinnamon/maple syrup cookie tarts that Tamera made. They smell heavenly. But i think I have litterly had it tucked this time. I was in a swap at "A SWAP FOR ALL SEASONS" for a Mother's Day Swap. We were to have sent a vintage brooch, with packaging, and I did that. I had a beautiful box, and a wonderful brooch that was my G.Grandmothers. Thought the lady would really appreciate it. Long story short...it was a tucked swap. MOTNER'S DAY

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I hope you all had a wonderful MOTHER'S Day. Mine Was wonderful. Saturday was not so good... I was checking my bank statement and I had become a victim of Identity theft, big time!!! This happened 300 miles from here in N.J. The bank said they will take care of everything for us. They changed our account immediately, and said it will take 10 to 15 days for fraud dept.to take care of it. Someone just walked into a branch office and cleaned us out. How, with no i.d. or else they must have made a good one to get away with it. I feel so victimized and used. So please everyone, check your statement everyday and for a few dollars a month, get identity theft protection. I wish I would have had it last week! I do now. Don't think it can't happen to you, because it can!!! I am going to go out and clean the pool today and get it ready. Looks like we might be getting some nice weather for once. Hope everyone has a beautiful day! Hugz!!!

I want to thank everyone for the emails while I have been sick and in the hospital for surgery. Still not up to par, and I apologize for not getting back to everyone yet. Things are not going real well. Hope everyone had a beautiful Easter. Mine was wonderful!!! The kids have all left, hubby left for Omaha and then on to Portland,Ore. Two of my grandaughters have stayed behind with me tonight, so I must get busy and have playtime with them. Have a great night and many wonderful dreams.

I received such beautiful gifts from Vicky over at "Vicky's Art." I was in a swap of Tammy's, "So Me, So You."It was so nice getting to know Vicky and her sweet family. I am so sorry for posting this so late, but I have been really ill and had surgery a little over a week ago, and I'm not doing too well. Vicky does such exceptional work , and it is so beautiful. This picture does not do justice to her painting. The sweet little bunny in the watering sprinkler is so adorable. And look at all the goodies that were in the flower pot. Can't wait to get some nice weather.

WOW!!! There are so many great giveaways going on right now. They are everywhere. The snow is melting finally,and it feels like Spring is in the air, but we all know old man winter isn't done yet. I can not wait till the warm weather comes.
I went to see the surgeon in Pittsburgh, and I guess I will be having more surgery next month. I sometimes don't think this is ever going to end, but as the Doctor said, You are alive, be thankful!
I am very thankful, and I thank God every day for sparing me. I have gone through surgeries for ten years, and another 10 years won't hurt me. Hope everyone has a good evening.

Tomorrow morning I will finally get my new electric box hooked up. I have been afraid to sleep with the way they had it wired. It is costing us $1600.00, something I could have done without, but cheaper then I thought it was going to be. I am just thankful I caught it in time. It sure has taken these guys long enough to get thier butt moving. i think they were waiting for warmer weather. It is 46 degrees today, and it feels wonderful. I got a wonderful swap package in the mail today and as soon as I get pics taken, I will post them today.

BAD, BAD, BAD WEEKEND!!!!!!

Well guys, my weekend just did not turn out how I hoped. Friday I went shopping, and to the thrift store junkin'. Everything was great,and I was really having a good time. Now I live in the country, and it's pretty isolated back here. I pull in the driveway, and I smell a really bad burning smell. My one daughter lives up the hill from me, so I assumed they were burning something, which they were. I went in the house and turned on some lights...they flickered and then no electric...went to the breaker box, switched them all, and it came back on. Turned on the t.v. and off it went again. So I call my son-in-law, and he tells me I have too many things on,which I knew better. Can't find anything wrong, so I call an electrician(tried four of them before I could find one to come after hours.) Thank God he came right away.He checked everything in here,which was okay. Then outside he went to the electric pole, which was smoking and arcing, and ready to catch fire. OMG! Grabbed my doggies, and some important things,and went to the garage. Couldn't get anyone at the electric co, so he disconnected everthing, pulled out the insides and bypassed the main breaker. He said I was very lucky it didn't burn the house down. And of course my dh was out on the road. Now the e. company has to come out while the electrician is here, disconnect everything while the lines and box are replaced. Then it has to be inspected by an inspecter before it is turned back on by the electric co. This will end up costing a small fortune I was told,and in the middle of winter at that! But you know what, The electric company was around and inspected everyones poles and fuse boxes in Sept. and everything was fine. All I have done is thank God for not letting my house burn down. We were just so lucky. Now Tuesday, I will have to call e. co. and tell them what happened. I will probably have a wonderful week with them. Then yesterday I repaced my printer that was only 3 months old that had quit working with a new one And guess what? It doesn't work either. I just sat and laughed and cried for an hour!!! Oh my, Wonder what tomorrow might bring....

A New Year, but no new resolutions this year. I decided I wasn't going to bother, because I never seem to do them anyways. How about you? I am so glad for the New Year, I sure hope it is better than last year. It is so cold out, and is starting to snow...wouldn't you love to see some beautiful spring flowers popping up through the ground? As you can tell, I can not wait for Spring and some warm weather. I ran across this again and it was the perfect reminder for me. I think I shall start living by these sweet quotes. I love both of these.

I went to the thrift store and found this great candleholder. I can't wait to redo it. I have several thoughts in mind. I also wanted to post a pic of two of the snowmen I finished. I need a pick me up. Should have had these done before Christmas. But I will keep them out till Spring.

ii was recently in a swap over at Georgie's Decisionally Challenged blog for the second year in a row. It is the Secret Santa Soiree. W e filled out a questionaire of or likes for this. This year we post what we got our swap partner and see if they can guess who thier partner is. This has been so much fun. Enjoy!

This is what I got my partner. She loves to read, so I thought a good book would be great!

Next, she doesn't splurge on herself, so I thought some real sweet body wash, soap and lotion might be a good thing. It smells so awesome.

She loves chocolate, so I included a bag of it.

And coffee to start her morning off right.

She likes nice fingernails, and then a facial to go along with that. And a couple little bottes of lotion.

My partner also loves penguins, so I put avotive holder of a penguin with candy in, a little windup penguin, and alittle paddle and ball to waste away the time. And a few other small items. Here is a pic of most of it together. I hope you like your swap package SSS partner. I enjoyed puttingit together.

I am back again...hopefully, I am done with hospitals for awhile. It was a rough summer and now I am finally feeling better. Not 100% yet, but I will get there sooner or later. My DH is okay now after his cancer scare. It just seemed anything that could go wrong these past several months, it did. I haven't been able to do too much, although i have tons to do. I am working on my swap "Countdown To Christmas" from A Swap For All Seasons. I have had alot of fun doing the matchboxes, and will be ready to send them off Monday. Thank you Linda for such a great swap. I will miss working on them. The weather here in Western Pa. is finally getting warmer today.Had enough of rain to last awhile. The color of the trees are exceptional this year, and so beautiful. I am working on some snowmen for Christmas right now. I will post pics after I get a few done, and a few other Christmas items. Well, since my last post, I have had surgery twice, and a severe infection in between. I am now feeling much better and ready to start living again. The weather is beautiful, the sun is shining and of course it is very warm. I haven't been anywhere but the hospital and Doctor for the last month, so I am going out tomorrow to yard sales etc. I really can't wait. I am also trying to get my garden in shape, which is still going to be awahile, but thought I would post some pictures of it, although it still needs work. Hope you like them.

These are my my friends that show up everyday . We had put some corn out and they just love it. These were taken two weeks ago before all of the snow. They are probably having a hard time getting to the food in this snow right now. They drink from my little pond and eat the buds that are still there, if there is no corn for them. I just love watching them. They are so graceful and it is fun to watch them play.

As you can tell, I am not real good at posting pics. Someday I might be able to do it. Guess Ineed to take a class. It is so cold here, I do not even like the thoughts of going outside. I am so ready for summer. Our mailman finally showed up after 3 days of missing in action. Snow, snow please go away! I am so ready for summer. I have one more swap to post today.
